Safety

Tasco Petroleum wish to advise the public that we are thoroughly monitoring the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis and following the advice of the Government Health Authorities to minimize the spread of the virus.

As a company, we have always maintained a high standard of safety and hygiene across our network and have implemented extra precautions and processes to provide our staff, customers and the wider community with a safe environment at each of our sites.

As of today, the 23rd of March 2020, we would like to assure the public that there is currently NO FUEL SUPPLY ISSUE. For many convenience items, we are however experiencing a higher demand than normal and are working with our sites and suppliers to ensure we are well stocked, although temporary shortages may occur.

Currently all of our sites are open, however to minimize risk, we ask that you please use gloves or paper towel supplied at site when using fuel pumps and when making purchases, please make payments via card rather than cash, as much as possible.

Many of our sites are also Roadhouses, as Roadhouses are not classified as Restaurants, they are not subject to the lockdown restrictions that have come into place, therefore will still be operating and providing comfort, meals and rest for those requiring it. As a result of this we will be ensuring we have requirements in place to ensure that everyone is practicing social distancing, with customers required to stay at least 1.5m away from each other along with staff where practical.

We will continue to monitor the situation and act accordingly to any further developments.
