We are a major fuel and lubricant distributor, operating throughout Northern Victoria, Southern New South Wales and South Australia. We provide a large network of both Wholesale Depots and Retail Sites, with our Head Office based in Mildura and an additional administration facility located in Albury.
We require a Console Operator 2IC for our site located at St Arnaud, with the role being permanent part time, minimum of 20 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
About the role
The Site Console Operator 2IC is a Second-In-Charge role, assisting the Site Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, customer service, and managing the console (point-of-sale/fuel pumps), often involving shift work and responsibility for opening/closing procedures, especially during site setup or busy periods
Requirements of the role
- Assist in Leading and maintaining a successful team dynamic with staff
- Assist in ensuring stock is ordered and liaising with the staff to maintain and increase sales.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Serving customers
- Authorising pumps and monitoring the forecourt
- Promote and follow safe work practices
- Ensure site is maintained and well presented at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in customer service or retail—ideally in a service station or convenience store—or a great attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- High attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate and calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A friendly, reliable, proactive approach to work
